Abstract

Public service digitalization has become an urgent need for government institutions, including the Agricultural Instrument Standardization Implementation Center (BPSIP) of North Sumatra, which manages services related to Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan (KUB) chickens. Prior to this system, data management and sales services for KUB chickens were carried out manually, resulting in inefficiency and limited public access to information. This activity aimed to design and implement a web-based Information System for KUB Chicken Services. The method included needs analysis, process design using Use Case, Activity, and Sequence Diagrams, database design, interface design, and system implementation and hosting. The results show that the system, named SIYAKUB, was successfully built with eight database tables and various features, including chicken data management, portfolio, newsletter, shopping cart, checkout, and payment verification, for both users and administrators. The system has been hosted and is publicly accessible, thereby accelerating service processes, expanding information access, and supporting transparent data management of KUB chickens at BPSIP North Sumatra.
