Publication Ethics

This journal can be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, searched, or linked to the full text of this article, saved, browsed for indexing, passed as data to software, or used for other legitimate purposes without financial, legal, or technical obstacles other than those that are inseparable from obtaining access to the internet itself.

This scientific publication code of ethics statement is based on the Head of LIPI Regulation No. 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications. The publication code of ethics is a norm that must be obeyed by authors who will publish their scientific work in publication media, including:

Moral: being able to distinguish good and bad behavior in writing.
Scientific integrity: upholding scientific principles, nature, and truth, not sacrificing it for any interest.
Neutrality: free from conflicts of interest in the management of publications.
Fairness: giving authorship rights to the rightful author.
Honesty: free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in papers.

Disclosures and Conflicts of Interest

Unpublished material in a submitted article may not be used in the editor's research without the author's written consent.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Editor-in-Chief

1. Determine the journal's name, scientific scope, periodicity, and accreditation if necessary.
2. Determine the membership of the editor.
3. Define the relationship between publishers, editors, reviewers, and other parties.
4. Respect the confidentiality of contributing researchers, authors, editors, and reviewers.
5. Implement norms and provisions regarding intellectual property rights, especially copyright.
6. Conduct a review of journal policies and communicate them to authors, editors, bestary partners, and readers.
7. Establish code of conduct guidelines for editors and bestary partners.
8. Publish the journal regularly.
9. Ensure the availability of funding sources for the sustainability of journal publishing.
10. Build a network of cooperation and marketing.
11. Improving the quality of the journal.
12. Preparing licenses and other legal aspects.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Editor

1. Editors comment on the author's writing so that readers can understand what the author wants to convey through the words written in the article.
2. The Editor comments on the author's writing under EBI (Indonesian Spelling) or language under the standardization of the journal.
3. Editors strive to improve the quality of publications on an ongoing basis;
4. Editors prioritize freedom of opinion objectively,
5. Editors submit corrections, clarifications, retractions, and apologies when necessary,
6. The Editor ensures that the author's writing does not involve racism or anything that can harm the publisher and coordinates the author's report with the editor-in-chief if the paper is slightly controversial.
7. The Editor receives, reviews, and follows up on complaints from all parties involved in journal publishing;
8. The editors support initiatives to educate researchers about publication ethics,
9. Editors do not defend their own, authors', or third parties' opinions, that may lead to unobjective decisions,
10. Editors encourage authors/writers so that they can make improvements to the paper until it is suitable for publication.
11. Editors layout articles to be published so that they are under the journal template.
12. The Editor assists the editor-in-chief in finalizing the collection of articles before printing and publication, especially in terms of language, format, and layout.

Duties and Responsibilities of Bestary Partners

1. Provide objective and unbiased written feedback on the scientific value and contribution of the article to the development of knowledge;
2. Indicate whether the writing is clear, complete, and relevant and whether the article is appropriate for the scope of the journal;
3. Not provide personalized criticism or comments; and
4. Maintain the confidentiality of the article by not discussing it with unrelated parties or disclosing the information contained in the report to other parties.

Author Ethics

The code of ethics that must be fulfilled by authors who will publish their scientific articles in TRANSACTION Journals:

1. The author must uphold scientific conduct and understand the benefits/advantages and risks of published writing.
2. Published articles, including fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism/autoplagiarism, are misconduct-free.
3. Authors must include adequate citations on all statements, ideas, and data, not the result of their research.
4. Published articles do not cause conflicts with specific parties or have the potential to disturb the community.
5. The authors listed in the published article are genuinely competent and have significant contributions in writing the paper.
6. The authors do not simultaneously double manuscript submissions to journals or other publications.
7. Part or all of the published article has never been published in other means of publication.
8. The published article is the author's original research results, ideas, or thoughts.

If the article has been accepted, the author must fill in the Author's Statement on the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications signed on stamp duty by the principal author.
