Abstract

Inventory management is a critical operational activity for construction consulting firms, since it directly affects material availability, equipment control, and project reporting accuracy. This study addresses the inventory management problem faced by CV. Graha Raya Consultant, where recording of incoming and outgoing goods was still performed manually and separately, causing unintegrated data, difficulty in checking stock, and delayed reporting. This study aims to design a web-based inventory management information system, named SIMINPRO (Sistem Manajemen Inventaris Proyek), that integrates the management of consumable materials and reusable equipment assets with project data. The system was developed using the Waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, coding, testing, and maintenance, and was modeled using Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). The system was implemented using native PHP and a MySQL database. The resulting system provides features for managing project data, material stock, physical assets, incoming and outgoing inventory transactions, and report export, accessible by two actors, Admin and Pimpinan, with different access rights. The system is expected to improve the structure, integration, and ease of inventory data management at CV. Graha Raya Consultant.
