Abstract

The development of the East Medan sub-district area as a tourism potential in Medan City is very important considering that this sub-district does not yet have a well-managed tourist attraction. The type of research used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach where the research is carried out to create a tourism development using collaborative methods. The importance of developing tourism will accelerate regional economic growth. The development of tourism as a leading sector is expected to become one of the driving forces of economic growth, this can be seen from the contribution of tourism to economic growth and the creation of job opportunities, increasing people's income and equitable development.
