Transformasi Nilai Gampong Aceh pada Konsep Rumah Susun

Population density is one of the primary issues facing major cities in Indonesia, with Banda Aceh being a city that possesses the potential to experience this challenge. One strategy to address this problem is through vertical housing development. However, the general concept of flat housing (rumah susun) often does not align with the settlement culture of the Acehnese people, commonly known as Gampong Aceh (Aceh village). Therefore, this study aims to identify the core values of Gampong Aceh and integrate them into flat housing design. The data regarding Gampong Aceh utilized in this research were gathered from previous related studies. The flat housing concepts generated from this study are expected to serve as valuable input for developing vertical housing that aligns with the spatial and place-based experiences of the Acehnese community.
